got a jeans beetle shell today, just need a floorpan.
going to do it with my uncle, the plan is, weld up the side trim holes,
keep the black 1/4 lights, colourcode all the light surrounds, door handles
and paint it a porsche colour.
luckily it doesnt need any welding whatsoever!!
well, a few tiny bits, but nothing major!
its got 1200 bumper mounts inside the spare wheel well, so will probably change the valence.
will get pics asap!

I know a guy with a '74 pan if you want to keep it all year correct. I've had the back end of his car, and he's still got the pan. Might need a couple of simple repairs, but generally in pretty good shape.
