Hi guys,
My car has a '64 transaxle. Can I convert the throwout bearing to a later model type by just drilling 3 holes and tapping them for the guide? What else do I need apart from the guide and throwout bearing, is the arm also different?
Thanks
Jesse

You can buy a guide sleeve that doesn't need drilling you will also need a 71-72 clutch arm and a late throwout bearing

Should be a nice item but they don't sell it in shops here in the Netherlands. Drilling and tapping is possible or not?

i've always had to stick them in the freezer to get them to fit, even then it required some 'persuasion' only problem i had was some bearings are too tight on the sleeve
