I totally understand you, I could never sell my beetle because it's my first car and it's something special, even if a lot of people told me to dump this pile of scrap :D
And I made the choice to build a reliable and nice driving engine that allow to go wherever I want with, so maybe you have to find the good balance between fun and drivable.
Just one advice : don't sell it !! 8)
