Always liked Brian Burrows Ghia(Ivans at some point?) as a cal looker (before he stuck all the vzi stickers all over it), will look for some pics.

The current owner has pulled all the stickers off and painted the stripes blue to match the rest of the car again. Looks good on the Ercos.  Cool

Found a couple of pics I took of it back in 2004... very shortly after the current owner had just bought it....

Fabs there is an orange KG from San Jose in 1990 "Cal Look" Hot VW's that would be cool to see here too.

Would that be my friend, Burger's, car? He was in D.K.P. about that time. I see him at the local pub sometimes.

no this was a guy that worked @ one of the Bugformances up in San Jose at the time, 1989 1990 or so.... very clean car from what I remember. Sheep and I saw it in person @ the shop way back when. Big Swedish blonde dude owned it. Nice guy and nice car.
I know the car your talking about. It is in the swap/pit area of Sacramento Bug-O every few years. I have pics somewhere. It had detailed Fuchs, T-Bars and a very clean IDA engine. I think the guy works for Bug-O-Rama Promotions.
at the time it had polished Empi 5's and a IDF or Dellortr 1835

now i see tha car jim it was a low light ghia orange
i can found it easily  i will scan and post
