Title: Cal-Look Aesthetic
Post by: Rick Meredith on October 02, 2006, 08:06:47 am
Jim's post about doing the Cal-Look treatment to the 356 Porsche got me thinking.

Have any of you applied the Cal-Look Aesthetic to other cars?

In my mind the basics of this would be going for a smooth look, one color paint job, possibly removing chrome, lowered especially in the front and performance upgrades. I think the appaerance of Cal-Look is defined as "Less is More."

I've done this with a couple of other cars... but I think I'm gonna wait to share until I see what you guys have done.

Rick

I would like to apply it to a Volvo P1800 coupe.  Very Ghia-esque.

i could dig that! The P1800 is a very nice car and would fit the style. Has it been done before?

I have been looking on those for years and it is a bit like the notchback.
