First apologies for not keeping this thread updated. Unfortunately we hit some problems with the paint reacting and micro blistering on the panels, this was traced to a bad can of hardener Angry Thankfully the shell is ok but it was still a lot of work completely stripping then repainting all the panels. Anyhow everything is now ok with the paint and here are a couple of shots.

Meanwhile the floorpan has been built up and the body has been reunited with it.

Next jobs: fit the doors, Lexan windows and firewalls.

I have also been able to reunite the engine with its matched gearbox as Peter Shattock has now moved on to a bigger and better gearbox set up  Wink  There is plenty of trick stuff in the box, narrowed gear set, lightened Ali Jaycee spool, lightened casing, to name just a few. Peter ran regular 11's with this combination so I'm looking forward to hitting the track with the car Grin

Well they say there's nothing like a deadline to make you get your ass in gear, and to that end I found out today that the car has been accepted for the Volksworld Show in March.

Now where did I leave that midnight oil?  Grin

Had a few hours on the car today, fitted up the doors and panels. Just need to fit the rear valance once its polished.

Also fitted the NOS Porsche 912 tacho in the dash.
