found a nos locking column today, but it didn't come with any keys! (is in better condition than my original locking column unit)

is there anyway a key can be cut, just from matching the lock?

don't want to take this unit apart, as it is all complete with the locking column part.

the key number should be on the lock. VW Classic parts and a few other dealers can make a new key with this number.
I am not so  experienced with pre67steering columns, but it might be that you need the key to disassemble the lock  Smiley

on my neiman lock, there wasn't a code on the barrel

don't really want to take my kolb one apart.
