I remember a year or so ago on samba I saw a speedwell bonnet badge that replaced the crest at the bottom of the trim on the bonnet.
Were these produced and where would I find one??

Do you mean this one? I think this was made for BLMC Minis. You can find it on ebay:

Not a genuine Speedwell item...
keith ,Speedwell made them , i remember on the sprintkit instruction manual the car who was used tho mount the sprintkit on  had one just on below the louvers , note on the second pict the 2 holes to put the pin's badges in

Fabs, we're not talking about that type of Spedwell badge – I've just sold one of those for a lot of money.

The original post was about a badge replacing the Wolfsburg crest at the end of the bonnet trim NOT the badge you show...

I wasnt sure if they were genuine or someone just had them made?
As a Brit living in Australia, I was thinking of getting one even though the BRMs I will be fitting will be Flat 4 copies. Just to fly the British connection a bit more? As I have just finished painting and am on the rebuild.
