i read the post about the 165 tires up front and there i read the post by sarge about treadwear.

to me those little things make it fun. the surch for that part that makes our cars just that little better. the little things not many other people notice. and even if they don't do anything better to the car, the things that are sometimes a must (read other posts about cal-look or not so cal-look related stuff).

i found the post intruiging and went to the garage to see what my treadwear is on my tires.

the firestones i have are 380 (165/80/15)

the 165/65/15 bridgstones are 200 (yes i will post pictures when i finally come around taking pictures)

and the 165/80/15 mabor tires are 180.

i am not sure if the Mabors are softer than the firestones... maybe the Mabors are older and therefore harder, but i didn't see any difference at first sight.

anyway have a look at your tires and knock yourself out on the subject. BTW where are slicks legal on street here in Europe?
