Sure does dude - I knew it would "work" all that time ago, Cheers dude  Smiley PS you live in the states- have you seen my post in off topics about Gates commando tires  Huh Smiley

henk - the list on the engine so far goes something like this:

Race Trim Air Filter (thanks Dave)
Race Trim 32mm Oil Pump and cover (NOS IN BOX)
Race Trim Deep Sump
Race Trim Adjustable push rod tubes (with stickers)
Race Trim Rocker Covers
Race Trim Breather Box
Race Trim Oil Cooler (NOS IN BOX)

For Next Season:

Race Trim Air filter box - that pipes off to a roof mounted air filter (Very Very Rare)
Race Trim Center mount manifold
Race Trim manifold end pieces
Race Trim Fan Belt Cover (very similar to my current one but those who KNOW will spot it)
Race Trim Shifter

The manifolds I have for sale are for Weber DCNF's or DCN's depending on how you drill them but they are currently ready for a pair of NOS Weber 40 DCNF's Very 70's  Wink Smiley

email me for more info dude  Smiley

I think some of the early VW Trends had the Autohaus catalogue in them too. Or if you can find an old Autohaus book by itself thats the best way.

VW trends 1 and 2 had a small version of the auto-haus catalog.

Get hold of an Auto-Haus catalog - all the race trim, vdo etc you can shake a stick at at.

I believe that Race-Trim was Auto-Haus's store brand.

That Race Trim stuff takes me back to the early 70's...working at the Auto Haus warehouse on Dale St in Buena Park.  Like Rick pointed out, Race Trim was Auto Haus' second line of products.  Most were re-pops of DDS and Berg items with the castings being a bit rougher.  The line also included Wood Dash Kits, hard parts and gaskets.  While rooting around in the garage a while back, I found some 48IDA air cleaner to carb top gaskets still skin-packed Race Trim...not much of a find, but worthy of hanging on the garage wall.  Oddly enough, it was a Race Trim 48 IDA intake manifold that I warrantied for a customer that cost me my job at Auto Haus...go figure!

ROFL!!!  Cheesy

It was not liked!  Roll Eyes

Race Trim was the "cheap stuff" not as bad as Johnny's Speed & Chrome (Flake & Peel) but closer to that than to Berg.
