Hello everybody,

my name is Phil I´m 22 years old and from Austria.

I started my passion for aircooled VW´s at an age of 16 years as i read an article about the orange Brezel "Zündfolge".

After finishing my technical college i bought a 63 bug from Carinthia. In hindsight it was completly rotten, but at that time i just wanted to own a bug and work on a living object.

The build is currently in progress. The plan is a big engine, disk breaks and Enkei 5-spoke wheels with 215/65 at the back and 165/65 at the front. The car is repainted in it´s original Color L478 Berylgreen. A lot of welding for the Body has been done but the chassis was in perfect condition.

Here are some pic´s.

Unfortunately the original post crashed so i re-posted the Topic.

Please keep pictures and updates coming as an inspiration - I've got also a beryl -62 that looks maybe even a bit worse than your starting point. Seeing a good fresh beryl paint with first chromes attached just looks so nice! Maybe in a couple of years I'll post similar pics even if my plans are a bt wilder...  Smiley

Also your -67 looks just fantastic! I've got one also with 1500 engine and 4-bolt wheels but it's even more of a project than my beryl!
