Perfect pair of type3/34 wide 5 rear drums, less than 6000 miles from new, were NOS when fitted 10years ago, also have backing plates,shoes, handbrake cables,cylinders etc, everything was new then

Ideally sell complete

nice bolt on kit! are the drums cut for beetle use on the snout or T3? (do they still need trimming with late beetles?)
i shouldn't ask but how much?  Grin

They were on a short axle car, you only need to trim late stuff to fit early cars, these would need a spacer outside the drum for a long axle late car, and I still cant decide a price

Are you sure ? When I used early wide5 T3 drums on my '63 bug, Cogbox Pete machined the snouts for me to allow enough thread to get the locknut on and snugged down......and I had short axles on the '63.

yes I am sure, and I just measured them to check, outer edge of snout to inner edge is about 50mm, same as I get for a  early beetle drum and a shortened late drum that Pete did for me

why reply then?  Roll Eyes  seems to me you just are trying to stir up shit, you do know brake drums take brake shoes not pads dont you?   I just added this up on T3detectives site out of interest and it comes to £320 without the backing plates and bearing retainers,
The backing plates in good condition are pretty hard to find, I searched the samba and there was only one came up
