For some month ago I bought a set of 61mm terminators for my 3L type4
http://cal-look.no/lounge/index.php/topic,3960.0.html

But like others I have problems with the 3,5mm glass ball one is working and the other is crap  Sad
then I tested the  spare set for my old 51,3mm also crap  Sad

But my 13years old Berg steel ball 3mm from the 51,3mm is stil working fine  Smiley but is 3mm fine for lets say 300hp with a fuel preasure on 0,25 bar / 3,5psi ??

Or do I have to buy a lot of 3,5mm to get one working set ??

My experience shows that glass balls are a pain in the ass at best.  Stick with genuine weber 3.0 needle & seats, start with 3.5psi, and with the motor running run the fuel psi up until the carbs start to bleed over and it won't idle clean anymore.  Back it off a hair and lock it down.  The benefit you have with Terminators is that you have a giant float bowl to work with.

For me, the glass balls were a weeks worth of wasted time.

I had a similar problem with glass ball needle and seats in my IDA's last summer. The originals seem to work just fine.
