Thanks chaps.

I managed to find an unused lightweight one. It was over 250 miles away but I picked it up yesterday. It also came with a pair of unused fibrelass rear quarters, so there may be a flip-rear on the cards too!

Well yes, transformation/repair.

I was involved in an incident on the motorway last weekend and 360'd the car into the barrier, leaving the osf wing/nose section ruined and the osr quarter crumpled. That was a few hours after I'd discovered some idiots had run over the car - stoving-in the bonnet, and denting the roof and decklid.

It's been written-off, and I've bought it back. So lighweight panels, cage & paint - may debut at VolksWorld, and race her with her new cam/carb combo at Easter Thunderball - low 15's here we come! Outta the way Golf GTi 16V, aircooled comin' thru Grin
