Pretty Cool!
I'd lose the narrowed beam and the tach ... but otherwise very clean.

I can't make me an advice about T bars on a late 1300  Undecided
I put black ones on mine and sometimes I liked them and the next day they make me feel that my car looks like an hippopotamus  Roll Eyes

I like them on the rear, but not on the front. And I think the thick bracket is not very beautiful, would be interesting to try with early thin t-bars.

Hi Tom, yes that car is very clean, I talked to him and his wife on occasions at different shows, he drives that car all over, had OG Gas Burners for awhile also, still looked good. I agree, his beam does not match his front alloys, needs the stock beam to look better. I have a narrowed beam also, but with Late Alloys, the offset kinda makes up for it. FYI, The For Sale signs on my windows are NOT for the car but for the wheels. My plan is to sell my lates and buy the re pop Alloys 5 1/2" rears and the 4 1/2" fronts, BUT with a stock width beam that I have already. But back to the beige car, I really dig that car, My favorite color. If I had my choice, my car would be that beige for sure. He might come on the Lounge, maybe he'll chime in on his car, I know he's on the Forum. Either way, a very cool car.

Thanks Nico for posting those pics, were you here for the Bug-In? Gotta come out here my friend!

I remember seeing this car all over town back, thirty years ago. It still looks good by today's standards.

In my opinion, the best '73 and later Cal Looker.

Frenchy's '74 Standard was COOL. Only thing I would change is switch to low-back front seats. Note the D.V.B. stickers in the quarter windows.

Great car, like Glenn's 74, even the big US bumpers look good on it.

Amazingly, it does look good. Given the time/money, I'd like to build a car with those tail lights but using European bumpers on a Standard.

Thanks Ted,the car was imported to the UK from California in the 80's,the interior needs work and the engine is a 2110cc but engine/engine bay wants some work to make it look better,it's work in progress at the moment but i'll get it looking nice eventually  Smiley

this is the gauge set up..

This is Greg Brinton's (DKP) non racing gas parts chaser, cruise around town ride.  This thing is awesome.  8 track stereo in dash (Neal Diamond) and healthy motor in back.  Really cool fun ride.  And so far as the T bars on a late model, I'm just guessing Greg has a pretty good idea of what he thinks looks right....ha
