Right on Harry, NOTHING'S SHOCKING is their best album, in my opinion. I think STRAYS was a real let down, but I exepected it to be.  Every song on NS jumps off the CD with sonic superpower. In fact......

TED JUST ADMIT IT.....this morning to wake me up

(her sex is violent! Sex is violent! Sex is Violent! SEX IS VIOLENT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!) Navarro's chords thru that run down just make you want to get in a pit. And to think the rock and roll mainstay at this time was HAIR METAL.....  gag me.

last night i listened to what i allways listen to when taking off ....

cant stop . re hot chilli peppers .

got my timing wrong by a second .
if you time it right so the intro plays as youre thrusting down the runway , then the main song comes in just as you take off it is AWESOME !! Cheesy

full blast helps your ears popping as you head for the clouds too .

( tip : wait until cabin crew are sat down and belted before you pull the i-pod out )

then i fell asleep listening to simon and garfuckle

Was Navarro with them from day one ? He's a great player.

His last album i bought "Trust No One" is kinda mellow, i saw him in his tattoo outfit 2 years ago on TV.
Looks like he lost the edge a little bit and going for the Hollywood life... Any new releases from him in the States ?
Nothing to be found overhere. I just want to follow that guy, just like i do with Jerry Cantrell. Jerry's on Ozzy's latest...

Navarro was their 2nd guitarist, but anything you'll ever hear, bootleg or otherwise, it will be him. There was some junkie named "ed" that played with them briefly before, with Eric and Perry and some flaky drummer..... this was just after Psi Com disbanded. Stephen Perkins and dave Navarro were friends from high school garage bands. Perry wanted Perkins as JA's drummer, but Perkins would join only if they gave Navarro the guitar job. I guess both Perkins and Navarro blew Farrell's mind and they were IN. I think one of the videos above.... Ocean Size... 1986 is shortly after SP and DV joined. Perry and Eric Avery were more into goth and artsy gloom music and DV and Sp were a couple of long hair metal-head rockers from high school..... combined they made something totally new! Navarro has to be in the top 5 guitarists of all time.
