It has been an unusually busy summer for me and I have not driven the 67 much since getting the engine back in after some tender lovin this winter Kiss  Kids were gone and my wife had a late meeting so I drove to my parents house and parked it where I used to park and detail my cars when I was a young VW lover. Mom even made me a cheese steak while I was there!

Awesome car! There’s only 2 things i would change to that car, everything else is perfect. Running boards and ditch the autometer gauges. But like I said; such a cool car!

Regarding the aronson decklid, do you drive the car in the East coast rain as well?

I would have loved to park my ass on the planter wall and just stared @ your car Mike. Thanks for new pictures.

Thanks for all of the props gang. Plans are to put in a different dash and my VDO's are sitting on a shelf. Running boards will be satin black with BIG lightening holes in them.......all in time. I took the day off to play today because I have to get knee surgery tomorrow. A couple pics of today's action.

Cops still use tape measures huh? I figured they all carried iphones with an app for checking headlight height now.

good luck w/ the knee. Hope it isn't your clutch leg.

Nice pics.  Good to see you had a day for fun, finally.  Too bad about your surgery tomorrow, was hoping to go for a ride.  I guess I'll just have to drive.   Grin

Surprised to see a Millville cop has a tape short enough...usually measuring lights on the lifted Ford pickups I bet...
