i know that center cap are china model , anyone have  a    red empi gt center cap ? , i need the model to make a reproduction   ( i saw a set on the samba but too expensive for me , and i think too small for the reproduction cap ,

Yes i just finish to convert the gearbox to short axle , i found short axle at the last european bug in , but was missing the bearing cap  witch are spécific , after 3 months looking around me , i found a very good stainless model  at ISP west  , put pics later

here is some pics about the front beam
it's an oem that i cut and shortened 6cm ( 2") , and weld a sway a way
idea was just to put the Wheel Under fender with  the CB dropped spindle + vw disc brake ( 4x100) + adaptator 4x100 / 5x205  and the result is pretty good to me

here is the result with the 10 years old  brm 4.5x15 mws ( ET 11 i think )

hy , so for the TECH SHEET  look at the top of my thread
at this time celtic  ( my friend) need to work on the cylinder heads
in the other hand , i'm working on the car , the 67 is near to go on the flloor after about 1 year

i finish the rear axle ( convert to short axle with a street drag gearbox 8x33  , 0.82 )  and  finish front and rear braking last week end

get some dificulties with brake liquid around the line lock , but now it"s ok

it"s a copy of csp one , i bought it with a german man at the last european  bug in  , as i understand he was  machining man ( sorry don't how to translate , in french we say "usineur"

he got more than 10 exemple at the back of his car

price was really good 150e

and i think fit better than the csp at shock absorber

i got 2 hard metal iece , and a friend weld them

look at this pic , he said you must weld all around if you want a hard piece

now i'm waitnig for the engine back home to test him in place in order to weld the lower piece
