Title: What is the longest Trip you have ever Flat Towed Your VW Post by: Shubee2 (DSK) on November 27, 2006, 03:40:03 am Hi Guys What is The Longest Trip You Have Ever Flat Towed Your VW (ON A VW TOW BAR)? Well I Know I Had A Long Trip I Just Towed My 67 Bug From Ventura Calif To Dallas Texas 1,593 Miles half the Time I Did not remember it was even back there LOL everytime I looked in My Rear veiw Mirror There was the Damm Ruby Red 67 Sedan Tailgating me I thought it was going to slow down my trip but I Drove Straight Threw 27 hours at an Average Speed of 70 to 75 even passed a 63 Ragtop also being Flat Towed

Also will be doing UK to Bug In next year and then back out for Bitburg too. Have had two or three police cars drive past and did not stop so i must have been lucky to. ;D
