Well after contless cars and projects I picked up with the HELP Tim Scholl I picked up a Red 1965 beetle.


Anyway

Photos that Tim took for me,





Ive been working long hours and learning french so my evenings have been taken up, BUT on the day she arrived ( Thank you Cal ship ) The Mrs took some photos for me.

Motor- 2276 built by Jon Chabot  TopLine
9.5:1 compression,
48 IDF Weber,
Intakes port matched to head, 40X35.5 heads ported/polished by Sean McCarthy,
Straight cut gears,
009 distributor with Petronix pointless ignition,
8 doweled crank.
1 5/8 Thunderbird header w/Dynomax muffler.

Trans- built by Jim Kaforski-Der
Transaxle.4.12 Klinkenberg R&P,
SuperDiff, Billet Side Cover,
Sway-A-Way axles

Kept seeing it for sale on the Samba and couldn't understand why it didn't sell right away,seemed like an awesome deal to me.

Right as I said MOT time Sunday so its the little things that need checking..Got to get the wipers on and adjusted next.

Anyway, need to sort out the stance, I think she will tuck under ok when shes had a nice drive..

I think that would look good, already got 1 pc glass. You could also loose the front indicators, exhaust outlets, and the US spec bumper holes in the apron/rear wings Wink
