I want to keep my original fuel tank in my 56 oval race car.

Looking at the regs for uk drag racing I need to have a one way fuel valve/breather from the tank.

Someone recommended a valve that i could instal in the cap (drill through the cap) Any one suggest a suitable valve?

Also, can it just vent to atmosphere or do i need a line from it?

For some reason tech at avon park gets really upset at vented caps, you can drill the filler neck and install a "fuel cell bulkhead fitting" then the roll over valve fits onto that, then use some hose or hard line to vent it outside the car

I used one like this

or this might be simpler

Thanks Richie,

will the bulkhead fitting seal ok on the curved part of the
petrol tank filler neck?

Do you have a photo of your set up?
