Title: SCC: The final of the Bugsprint Series 2013! Post by: SCC Event on May 22, 2013, 16:05:38 pm BugRun and SCC are working together in this year’s Bugsprint Series, with three rounds in Sweden and the final on Gardermoen. The goal is to get more air cooled VWs to participate in dragraces, and that more teams from other European countries will come to Scandinavia to compete.
This year’s rounds in Bugsprint Series are held June 7th to 9th at BugRun #30 in Mantorp, July 5th and 6th at Bug Run Race Day #2 in Malmø, August 2nd and 3rd at Bug Run Classis #3 inTierp Arena, and finally, August 9th to 11th: SCC on Gardermoen Raceway!! There are two classes in the series. Supercharged (SC) for air cooled engines with turbo and/or compressor, and Naturally Aspirated (NA) for air cooled engines with carburetor or injection. In every race, the points in both classes will be summed up, and transferred into a common result list. Turbo cars and cars with aspirated engines will therefore have equal opportunities to gather points. The winner of the series, gets a free travel and participation fee for VW Action in Santa Pod in England, that is held August 30th to September 1st. Be there!
