Great link. just watched some of yesterdays and will tune in later again for todays live coverage. Starts at 5pm UK time or 18.00 hrs Continental.
Doesn't make me jealous at all...I went to Shakey yesterday for some T&T...not quite the same.

I was watching it too. A couple of the Funny car runs did look a bit lively, saw the one that crossed lanes, pleased to see it run through and get the laundry out. I think the Jungle Jim car had an issue on that round too, the footage was a bit jumpy at the time but it looked like it was heading for the guard rail and pulled the 'chute at around 1000ft?

(Maybe it's a current NHRA driver that forgot that real drag racing is 1320?)

Very cool.  Cool

I've been watching a while and have to say it's a bit of a shame that it's all racing, do they not have a Terry Grant equivalent over there? Or maybe a jet quad? Tongue

Well they kind of do,when they have down time they send a 50s or 60s era fuel dragster with push start truck down to keep you interested Shocked No fun at all Cheesy Grin

there were a couple of oil downs and saturday some cars seemed to have an attraction for the foam blocks that hold the mirrors for the timing lights but they are so efficient at getting it sorted you dont really notice

Ok some more pics

Try and talk Jo into this rather then a Rod. I'll give you a hand putting it together again. It's fun and practical. You can pick up parts from Scat or take engine cases to the jet wash or just cruise around in it. Wink

That $ilver Dollar car is really cool, being a pick up it'd be a handy parts getter for the Funny Car.  Cool
