gunter i own the front wheels  on jean rene 59 the flat 4 brm's,  i bought the wheels in feb or march 96 the front had 145 michelin xzx tyres and i still own this wheels today  Wink

his first set was the very first set sold in France (on Flat4 wheels !!!)
it was still big money those days remember

strange when I bought my set  to JR F at the same period he tell me the same thing that the wheels were the first set in France

Thus the first set on is car  is mine now  Huh  but i've just have to buy fronts and behind them are dated 1992 and others than I bought from J-R in their flat 4 boxes  date they of 1996 also 15years and 11 years   Shocked  ,older now if my brain works correctly in 92 it's the first time when super vw talk about that wheels

if my memory serves me right he had 1.5 or 2 sets,
but honestly who got his very first set, that I don't know
BUT I'll ask him for sure
it's great to update those stories and that wheels get kept and not get lost

I know, this was just a quick picture, didn't unpack the big box
we have two bottles in case, do you know if Chimay (or somewhere close) there will be access to refill of the bottles
I imagine three days of race ...

Speedwell and Empicollector
the 92 for instance was done by the manufacturor of the Flat4 wheels
and gives the year of production most likely
92 says Nao is one of the early production
so keep them I would say
