Whose stupid idea was that?

« on: August 17, 2009, 02:36:42 am »

Well I must have gotten home first, and thought I would start a post from a really fun day.  I personally want to thank all the DKP boyz for rolling in and joining the Deeks.  As well many many thanks for that thoughtful b-day card from you guys as well.  One of the notes inside the card said, "Happy B-day Worm! Do we get to spank you? XOXOXO Love and Kisses..... Michael Jackson.  I had no idea he was in DKP!!!!?Huh  Too funny guys.
Today was awesome.  Period.
Great cars (some I havent seen since 1981...Juniors Sqrback for one), lots of laughs, and killer carne asada.  Thanks Ramirez for cooking it all!  Thanks to EVERYONE else for their efforts to make this such a cool day.  Not to leave anyone out, but such notables should be mentioned as well... Lisa, Mark, Fred, Junior, Rick, all the lovely ladies (peeling avocados!!!!), and more!  The food was killer and the beer cold, the conversation saucy.  Good stuff.  I am ceratin there is plenty more to add.

OH!  And whats with DKK and the Cops HuhHuh?!!!!!!!!

Enjoy these till the real photgrapghers post.......

Arghhhh!!! I completely forgot until this evening! I'm worthless. Actually, we're getting ready for a trip, so I was pretty busy packing anyway. But I did really forget. Sorry, all.

That is a GORGEOUS lineup!!! Haven't seen anything that good since my pre-84 VW mags! If any of the clubs want to swing by the SO-CAL Speed Shop in Long Beach on a Saturday you are more than welcome! We had hot rodders in the shop this Saturday from Italy, Australia, France and England and all of them would have loved to see a few killer SO-CAL Volkswagens! Thanks Jim

We talked about future events with the 2 clubs and I did toss out the idea of heading out your way on a Saturday. I thought it would be a great stop on a coastal cruise... I'll have to dust off that "Guess who's coming T-Shirt I got from you when you opened.

The cookies you saw were actually faked on a sound stage in Hollywood...

Right you are, Rick. In addition, they were mere holograms, at that. And thanks to Smell-O-Vision™ (brought to us by the kind folks at Ren & Stimpy), we were able to enjoy those virtual cookies.
