This is a 5 speed box from a early 911 or 914 , it needs some work as the diff has been welded at some point in the past for racing and these welds have now failed .
From what i can tell it has straight cut 1st and 2nd gears and very close 3rd 4th with a tall 5th .
this box will need a new 914 diff for street use or you can re-weld the original for a locked racing diff .
I used this in my car with a 2109 motor and was very pleased with it till it broke , it was solid mounted so i heard and felt everything .
I would be tempted to fully rebuild this unit as there was a fair amount of crap in the oil when it was drained from the failed welds .
Ive got another box now so have no need for this one .
please email me any questions and I will endeavor to answer them as best as i can .Cheers
