Title: Recent Headjob
Post by: fish on April 13, 2009, 05:19:39 am

Here are some pics of the heads I have just finished cleaning, shimming and blending seats, came up pretty good.
I am putting these on a 1776, K8 or K10 with straight cuts, 1.5:1, 1 5/8, 45 dells and "Underdog" inspired orange Mongrel  ;D with stock 4.37 and engine cradle.

With the heads complete and ready to bolt on, do geometry, complete long block, assemble cooling, oil, fuel lines, its time to change engine/gearbox mounts with interesting choice of wheels as the rear is mini tubbed. Screaming for short axles and Ercos me thinks.

The cradle was built by Vaughn with the intention of having some sort of adjustability in cushion rate and axial twist @ the bushes, kind of dialing in for the specific purpose of use. Its quiet heavy being 5kg but very strong and capable of handling serious HP.
