That's what I want for my new 2017... I'm running an Engle 125, and probably 1.25 rockers, so I don't think clearance will be an issue.

Ted
What kind of lift? I had a Clay Smith 320 with Pauter 1.4s with almost .600 lift on Comp Eliminators with .200 longer valves and the stock covers cleared, even with the bulky billet rockers. I would rather dimple the stock covers than bolt on a inevitable oil leak.

CB has new OEM VW Brazil covers for $12.95 a pair and bails for $5.95 a pair.

No vents, but that's fairly easy if you want the same as pictured.

Breather box? I probably won't be running an electric pump, so venting at the case in the fuel pump location isn't a real likelihood.

I'll have to find somebody that has a set already done or that can do the welding for me, since I do not possess this skill. Lol.  Cheesy

it is not about the breather, it is about how you get the clearance for the rockers..

What valve adjusting screws are you using? The only time mine ever hit was when I used the adjusting screws that came with my Scat rockers, I used the BUGPACK shorter screws, and problem solved...

Hey Dominic, I'm using Berg rockers with there adjusting screws, BUT, I think I found my problem, my geometry was off, figured it out last night and redid it this morning. fixed the problem with taller lash caps and a reshim, but need to try the valve covers. BUT I still like the idea of the Bugpack race valve covers, now it's for looks. It's kinda Old School Thinking of wrinkle paint them with the polished rib's. Goes with the 3 1/2qt. Berg sump that I got from Berg sometime back that was black anodized with polished ribs. Still in the process.... Smiley
