My 2180 engine just gone pop, case and number one piston are destroyed but everything else is savable. I was going to up my engine a little by getting 94 mm case and matching pistons, but i had a thought about maybe increasing the crank as well to a 84 mm and running 2332 instead?

My worry is budget is tight and I would need all my original engine parts, and to run the engine on my original 48 IDA webbers? Would they be up for the job?

My original engine spec was

bugpack 92mm crank and case
Scat 1.4 rockers
CB super race rods 5 inch
FK89 cam & straight cut gears
48 IDA ' s

Thanks in advance John

The 48`s support up to 250hp on our engines so no worries there.
