It is the soldier,

Who serves beneath the flag,
And whose coffin is draped in the flag,
Who allows the protestor to burn the flag.

Now that is a good deal. Ragtop, real detailed alloys, real Nardi wheel, 'vert decklid, and a grip of cool details underneath. All for $6k less than that other car.

Car has 450 miles since completion.  Hidden street rod wiring, Buddy Hale paint, and polished aluminum beam.  It's still pretty nice.

Off topic; thank you for posting that video - do you by any chance know the guy with the red 65 doing the 11.3 run in the end? That car sure sound strong!

Good luck with the sale, I took the chance and posted your add on our Norwegian forum as well. Looks like a really nice car!

Yup, the Jade Grenade is seen about 1/3 of the way into the video parked by the DRKC area. I think I parked the car there after I pulled it off the trailer for Ron,..he had a bum leg at the time. Very clean car.

I love that video,..thanks Dan,..don't know why, but it has a special play in my heart.

The "red" car that ran the 11.3 was Andy Herrod. He bought the car from Kevin Richards of KCR. It was more of an Orange with pearl. There was a red car that ran a 13.3,..looked like a 53 Split not bad for  a 7.9:1 CR motor using only three gears.

It looks red in the movie but I do think I can hear the speaker mention Andy`s name. I have looked around and found the following info about the car; 2275 cc: 5.500" rods; Competition Eliminator cylinder heads; Engle FK89 cam; and 48 IDA Webers. Built by Steve Tims. And with the following gears; 3.88 R&P; 4.25 1st, 2.54 2nd, 1.78 3rd, and 1.37 4th gears. I noticed that Kevin had Gasburners on the car when he raced it. Do you know if Andy did something with the engine or was it the same?

Again sorry for the OT - at least you got bump  Wink

The motor that Andy was running that day at Sac was a Jack Sachette motor if I remember correctly. That had some serious JayCee power too. Kevin may have run a Steve Tims motor,..but I am just going of cloudy memory.
