Pety Fuser from brazil in his New beetle style rear engine door car ran 7.66@195mph yesterday, and a 7.75@150ish mph getting out of it early, with another 7 second at 195mph pass as well, the bar has been truly raised Shocked

Seems a more aerodynamic shape with a sequential gearbox is the way to go as well  Smiley

You guys have always raced with both hands tied behind your back by having a "Pro Mod" legal car --

This car just shows what Laufer's or the Baron's gang could do if they didn't have the weight and trans restrictions

Wicked!
I wonder how much he is spraying that thing too?
Amazing numbers, that looks like it could be the very first 200 mph aircooled doorslammer.

It is really interesting to compare his time-slip to other fast vw`s out there. He is picking up 43.75mph from 1/8 to 1/4 mile and that is a lot! 5.054 with a 1.219 60ft and 152 mph half way is also amazing.

As impressive as the ET is and it is very impressive, its the crazy MPH that really wowed me, really didn't think I would ever see a rear engine door car go over 200mph Shocked   Very impressive stuff  Cool  now the rest of the world has to try to do something to catch up

Until I get a 5 speed trans I am limited mph wise anyway, I think his 1/8th ET is obtainable but not the mph to match the rest with a 4 speed gearbox

80kph - 50mph increase from 1/8" to 1/4" is impressive. 1.221 60ft is really good but you are already matching that. It is really picking up speed from the 60ft toward the 1/8" and he manage 4.962 @ 156mph half way.

That 4.9x 1/8th is my next goal, my best of 5.14 was with 1.214 60ft and last time out I ran back to back 1.16 60fts so will run in 5.0x 1/8th with a little more work on shifting and boost control.
Just takes time & money, oh and a little hard work Wink and if that doesn't wok can always take the kit of the 67 and throw it on Grin
