At what point are HD spring plates needed or advised?

 I do not think they are needed . I purchased a set with adjusters but after setting my chassis up I really never moved them again . I think a better investment ( if it is a race car ) would be a set of spring plate covers with the bronze bushings. They control movement at the torsion housing better than anything else I have tried . Mike McCarthy
