Hi, Im looking into selling my 1967 beetle.

It can be sold with or without the Rancho box, Ercos and harnesses ect, it is all negotiable...

The car had a FULL BODY OFF RESTO , bottom 6 inches replaced professionally by the Speedster Clinic and the chassis was painted and detailed 2 years ago. It has since driven 3500 miles. Most of the miles were carried out on trips to Spa this year and France in 2010.
I kept the car in dry storage for both winters and in a locked up workshop whenever it wasn't being driven.
The car was originally from Northern Ireland and came to England in 1999. It comes with a full VW service history up to around 90000 miles and a folder full of receipts/old photos and all previous MOT's ect.. Both keys are original and the original speedo and the rest of the carpets including the truck carpet will come with it too

Body and chassis:
1967 UK RHD beetle shell restored by the Speedster clinic
It has NO RUST at all and is painted everywhere, all arches are stone chipped and painted over with body colour. Dash and inside fully painted, firewall/wheel arches ect...
Ash tray and glove box lid left in factory paint as ash tray has original dealership sticker and glove box has ORIGINAL EMPI plaque on it.
Rear wings and 67 rear valance all fully removable and held in place with DZUS fasteners.
Holes cut in inner rear arches for adjusting Twin carbs
The numbers matching chassis had new frame head and new pan halves and was prepped and sprayed with POR15 gloss black paint.

Suspension:
lowered front beam on puma Adjusters,
stock beetle shocks,
vw disc brakes drilled to porsche pattern
New calipers and stainless brake hoses front and rear.
rear shocks are EMPI coil overs
Adjustable spring plates
Suspension parts all powder coated gloss black (still look good but this was 3500 miles ago)
Berg mid mount
Rancho Pro Street box with close 3rd gear (box only done 1000 miles)
Rear wide 5 BAD Brakes disc kit
Short axles polished for strength
Short axle tubes
Rear torque bar
Rhino gearbox mounts

Interior:
Original carpets inside, footwells, firewall, parcel shelf, floors and front firewall/arches
centre tunnel of carpets cut out to see shiny tunnel
sound proofing under carpets
original front seats (drivers has rip in seat base)
6 point roll cage with harness bar powder coated gloss black
8mm fuel line running through car, stainless over braid hose and glass inline filter
Autometer UltraLight Speedometer. (stock one comes with)
Gene Berg RHD shifter
Rear seats removed but come with car
Rear parcel shelf cut out and replaced with aluminium panel that is DZUS fastened in place. Panel is carpeted and looks stock when fitted apart from the DZUS fasteners
No headliner sorry
OG 6 volt radio

Other parts:
Fuel tank powder coated gloss black
NEW complete custom wiring loom with extra wires for oil temp and oil pressure senders.
All new window rubbers
12 volt wiper motor
red rear tail lights
US spec front lights
MSD feed thru for coil lead on firewall
Electric fuel pump
Front bumpers with euro overriders come with the car also

Not including the engine this car cost 18k to build...

2276cc engine, MSD setup, Autometer tach and oil gauges not for sale with the car.

(carpets now in properly)

Alot of time, money and work has gone into this, so 9k open to offers. Price is negotiable depending on what parts you want with the car, ercos and rancho box ect...

My phone number is 07521510015

Thanks for looking,

Stef
