Looking for 13" Datsun Empi Eight Spokes

Hello All, especially the Californian Oldtimer Drivers (just kidding of course  ),

As the title says, I'm looking for a full set of Datsun Empi eights in any condition but totally ruined. I know it is a long shot, but I just missed a set on the *Bay and now I'm desperate, what can I say, they're cute. I just wish I had seen the error of my ways earlier and bid heavy.

Thanks for the heads up Ben. I did see them puppies before though, KMHWS is always the first webplace I turn to when in need of a wheel fix. They are nice, but I'm really in need of the 13 " ones. Here are the 14" ones, look at the difference with the ones I posted earlier, doesn't it look like the 13" ones are smaller

I have gotten a reply to my email already, been quoted on a price and took the bait. So hopefully the wheels will be on their way to europe pretty soon  A picture of the set in question is below. I'll have to fix two cracks but I know one Wunderwaffle had to go through this before, so I'm not too afraid of that (though the same WW also had one of his 5 spokes almost take the head off of the wheeler dealer  )

And Jerome, we'll first see if the set ever reaches Belgium, and then we'll talk. Might make for a nice spare wheel, though I'd might go for a solid steel wheel as spare as well, but don't worry the compte tours is safe and sound in its box, waiting to be shipped to France.

Hello US Loungers,

I'm trying to make a deal on two sets of Datun Empi's, a 13" and a 14" set. However the seller doesn't seem to trust this Belgian buyer and wants to know if I know someone near Disneyland. I'm not sure what he is after, might just be a reference but I think he wants to sell the wheels outright to someone in his neighboorhood, who will than go through the hassle of shipping them to Belgium.

So anyone in for some "fun"? I will off course pay all the costs, up front. I'd be more than grateful.

Well, after a perfect deal gone bad I'm on the look out again for those illustrous 13" Datsuns 

I had it all lined up, had an expensive deal on a set of 13" and a set of 14" from the same seller. He didn't want to ship so had that taken care of (thanks Kobus and ISP west). Then the guy all of the sudden doesn't want to accept the agreed on Paypal (again ISP west offered to help out, at no cost). But in the end it seemed best to walk away. Thanks for all of you who offered help, no thanks to Richard Jeremias, impossible guy to deal with 

Forget what I wrote, the deal might go through after all. The guy will even throw in a Hurst for a good price to make things right. Fingers crossed
