perhaps this link is the one that has already been send you to (probably by my brother)

i have bought this set myself and it are beautiful parts:
http://www.thesamba.com/vw/classifieds/detail.php?id=806472

althought i haven't completed the engine i did assemble them for measurements and they fit very well!
very nice piece of machining, nice thick wall for heat absorption and perfectly matching in weight (as well as the pins)
comes as a complete set with pins and rings!

The one pictured in the ad is slip in. NOT machine in. It looks to have some beef in the body. But also looks very much like a cylinder from a well known importer of counter parts. Although I cannot be certain unless I get to see the cylinder from all 4 sides.

the set in the ad is indeed a machine-in set, i own a set myself and i am sure.

slip-in p/c sets do not need any machine work in a stock 1600 setup, these ones need the heads to be machined (to the same size as 90.5/92 p/c sets) and can leave the case untouched.
