Wanted Looking For A Needle in a Haystack But its worth a Try I Need a Pair of Original Black OUTSIDE SCRAPER, includes rubber and aluminum trim, 1965-1977 Bug, I need Right & Left German Scrapers These Came Factory on the 1973 Sport Bug and the 1974 Love Bugs these are just like the bright aluminum ones But  are Black Anodized

they were only made to fit 65 threw 77 VW MADE THEM but since they only came on two year cars  they were replaced with the chrome version The 1973 Sport Bug and the 1974 Love Bug Both Came with them I had Them on all the cars I built in the Past I am not a Big fan of One Piece Windows I have Had Them But like the vent wings better but it allows you to Black everything out goes great with a Dechromed Body and Cal Look Rubber

Shubee, I just powder coated mine satin black and they still look great 20+ years later.

Did drill the Rivets out that attach the Rubber?

ya know... it's been so long ago that I can't remember... obviously the rubber couldn't have gone through the powder coating so I must have drilled them out and replaced them.

That flat black trim was factory fitted on some mexican special editions such as the "Special Bug" (1983) etc., so it should be possible to get those at the Classic Parts Center...

They didn't happen to have these blacked out models in Brazil to? They kept the small windows to the bitter end.
