I have now got the seals I need with the help of "Speedwell" aka Fabs, thank for the help

Would it be helpful to post links for parts for split rim empi's and such here in this thread

If this needs to be moved to another section please do.

Andy, I think I have your old wheels. Did you sell the car to Matt Keene, and were the wheels polished?

my old wheels have really done the rounds, they were on my Notch (clive prews old one) which i sold to paul medhurst, he sold it to beaker who put a set of 5 bolt sprints on it, he sold the empi's to chris lambourne who bought my other notch of me (68 auto) and he sold the car to matt who sold the wheels to you, simple.

Well, nearly - I bought the wheels of a chap called Ian who goes by the name of Topbloke on VZi - I think he bought them off Matt - and I think the car went to Marco Mansi and is now his black WBX-motored car.

Anyway, back on topic - I've not taken the tyres off yet but I know a couple of the nuts are missing off the backs of the wheels so I thought it would be a good idea to split the wheels down and clean them up, and fit new seals while they were apart.

i think I'm sorted for seals now, but I'm trying to get some wheel bolt inserts done by a friend,

He would be intrested to know the level of demand for inserts for 8 spokes and BRMs

if we could find out how many people want sets then we may be able to get the price down

Let me know

Ps now see the top of the page , 1st post

keep me posted on the inserts. i have a lead on some as well, but it has been taking a year now and it is a father off a friend who can do it. so the price should be OK, but the timing is off, as always with favours i guess Undecided
but i plan on calling him and have the work done a bit faster. they were the 8 spoke type. the BRM type are a bit longer

I've been looking into inserts too, but like Nicolas, they're a friend of a friend type deal. I need 12 or so I think.
