At last! An American car with a full cage!  Shocked

Did I just type that out loud?

I really like black '67s, but for some reason that car doesn't do anything for me.

14:25 @ 108mph on street tires...  Thats a pretty darn fast car. Slicked down that is a mph for a 12 flat or so.

I love this car - it's tough as hell. Shame it reminds me so much of Heydon's car  Tongue

Set of bumper bars on it and job done. Ice cool.

Yep, I think thats the problem. The wheels need to fill the wheel well better and it needs a tad more rake.

Very nice car. Just return the door windows back to factory vent wings and trade the wheels for non-plated ones. The bummer building these cars is the same concept as watching people in my neighborhood with their houses... they spend over a million dollars improving and constructing huge additions but then turn around and sell their places for half of what they've invested. I just don't get that. If I'm gonna build a car, house, or whatever... I'm either gonna break even or make a few dollars. But, to each their own. Long as they're happy.

Either way, good looking Beetle.

I think that some people get more pleasure from building their cars than from using them. Once the build is done, they get bored and want to start a new project. As fas as that '67 goes, I don't care for the tan interior with the black exterior, but otherwise it looks like a very nice car.

True... several of my friends are that way and they go through cars like mad. Just bizarre to see people sink $50K into it and they're lucky if they get half of it back. Long as everyone's happy, I suppose.

This is my biggest problem. I get bored and start thinking up things I want to change or dreaming up the next project. That usually requires the sale of the finished project.
