I mean, when you built your car, did you build it as a car to take only to shows and get trophies, a weekend driver or a daily driver? Or maybe your car started as a daily driver and ended up being a racer  Grin

jim, you're right about the stance... but still this is my opinion the most beautiful vert i everrr seen! though i like the vert of greenheart's max as well...

i saw the ad on thesamba (for a fair price) about a year ago, saved all the pics on my pc  Grin

i'd just get the stance sorted and bob's yer uncle!  Wink

Ok, sorry to take this topic into another realm, so I'll make this brief.
Again, to me, the number 1 thing about a hot-rod VW, has got to be the STANCE. You can put all the original Empi or DDS stuff you want on the car, real BRM's, slipper-skirt 88's, 48's, Berg, have Becker paint, have all the right stuff, moldings or no, any color you like, but get the stance wrong, and the whole message is lost. Those tucked under fender tires make the car look like a mockery to me.
Ok, don't get me started....

Jim,

That Stance problem on the Vert could be solved in couple of hours... Wink

Than it would look spot on again!!!

I Think The Front is a little to low to In the Picture when it was mine it had 14x5 1/2 alloys that made it sit low anyway, ground to headlight center was 17 inches  I hate the rear end dropped down on bugs reminds me of a dog taking a crap from the back

i think a showable driver is the ultimate to strive for! and quite a few of you lot on here fit that profile, what more do you want?
