Ok, I realise this isn't a VW event so how relevant it is here is questionable but how many of us attend and enjoy non VW events ?
I've been to the speed trials for many years now. It's a great event with full access to the pit area. There is always a great
mix of vehicles sprinting from pre war Bentley's, single seater specials, hill climb cars, classics and supercars. One year saw 12 turbo hyabusas, pro stock bikes, classics and circuit bikes.

So I was surprised to read there is a on line petition to save the event :

http://www.savebrightonspeedtrials.com/index.php

Following a tragic accident in 2012, the 2013 event was cancelled and now the whole event is in jeopardy.
I've you've ever been you'll know what a great day out it is in a great location so I'll urge you to sign
the above petition. It might just be enough to save this long running meeting.

Thanks
Darren

Anything LSR (land speed racing) related is worth saving for me.

So, signed!

Really pleased that this great event will continue.
Saturday 6th September is the date for your calendar.

If the weather is good I'm sure it will be a brilliant day.

Thanks to all that signed
