Doug and I have been joined at the hip so to speak with our taste in VW's. If it hadn't been for Doug's generosity years ago, I'd probably still be sitting on the sidelines. My current engine was built from parts that Doug gave me to use without ever asking for a penny in return... just that the parts be put to good use. That old saying, "What are friends for?".... now you know! Oh, and that freshly paved parking lot where the pic was taken got a nice "re-striping" after the shoot. :o :o :o ;D

This is my and Marcus 59's, both red with BRM's. Both are dirty after hard driving on gravel roads. Marcus has sold his car but I still have mine.
