OK, there are 14 chapters in the book, with lots of stories about street racing, getting drunk and going crazy. That's Bill Schwimmer and Glenn Gaskey taken care of... Grin)
Wanna know the details on some of those cars you never got to read about much, but are part of the legend? Deano's '67? Bill's Oval? Doug's Ghia? Stay tuned…  Cool)
Photos? Oh man, do I have some photos... Shocked)
So far written 35,000 words, with another 10,000 to go. Sounds a lot but not too bad.  Smiley)

Scheduled for publication in the Fall (that's Autumn to us lot over here).

That sound OK?  Smiley)

I don't think it could possibly be the cape - That would mean that the cape would have arranged, with prior notice and notification to be in a selected location where a photographer would be present - there just isn't enough uncertainty about an appearance or not of the cape... Wink)
