Drive it

Only until you take the motor apart again.  Cheesy

actually after the few last projects in my garage go away, that's it. It's going to be a garage for storing our Honda and my VW.... no more parts to trip over and mag shavings to breathe. I'm hoping as well as it runs now, that's a good indication I won't get bored and do something like drop the motor out again. Besides, by the time I finish Sheep's motor, I'm going to need a walker.

If you dont finish it soon !!!!!! You will need a walker Angry

BUMMER! Looks like the main body structure wasn't harmed, much. Same for the headlight lens. Hopefully, it's cheap and quick to repair. Could've been much worse. Thankfully, the wheel escaped damage, as well.

My '70 pile of the month (copyright Dan Leadbetter) will be sitting through another Lake County winter, idle and exposed to hopefully not too much snow but no doubt many sub-zero temperatures at night.  Hoping to get it painted sometime in the next year, but we'll see.

I lost the car in a roundabout in Calais... Sounds familiar?
Fortunately I wasn't driving very fast so I was able to make it home without problem.
Suspension & wheels have nothing, but the front valance moved a bit so it will need to be pulled back into place.

Diesel spilled from trucks over-full with fuel to avoid spending money in the UK! Angry A few biker friends of mine have told me about it - it's quite common around ferry ports. Feel very sorry for you Yvre, best of luck with the rebuild.

My winter plans - take some time out after finishing the '70, an just accumulate parts and funds for the next build! Wink

If I can locate some original EMPI 1.4 rockers, I might just rebuild the top end of the engine. Otherwise, I'll just drive it Smiley
