i was just thinking of this today as i have been posting lots of pictures on other sites and forum's, can admin do something so we don't have to compress picture sizes anymore ? i don't think many have a dial up connection anymore and i have only come across this issue on this forum, most other sites i can post straight from iPhoto, once again just asking thanks

I'm thinking it's more of an issue of storage space for The Lounge rather than bandwidth.

also size, when someone posts a HUGE picture is upsets the rest of the thread as your having to scroll left and right also?

The forum is free to use, but costs money to manage. More storage, more money maintaining the site.

A while ago I suggested linking up with an app such as tapatalk so we could directly upload images, but I got zero response from the administrators Roll Eyes

i just use photobucket for pictures.
that way i can load it up to photo bucket from my phone and then write out a longer thread on the laptop if needed.... but so many ways to do it these days!
