Driver side door latch for 56-59 beetle

I'm looking for a driver side door latch for a 56 Beetle. New or NOS would be great, but used parts in very good condition are also acceptable.

If anyone knows of a company in the US or Europe that sells a quality, new part please let me know. Thank you.

I have a pair of brand new catches and striker plates that I bought from Wolfsburg west, from memory they were for a 64 but if you fit both catches and strikers there are no problems. Bought them for my 59 but I managed to sort my originals so they are not needed.

They are the ones listed in the link above so believe they are the same as on the heritage site but no problem if they are no good for you
