I'm looking for a driver side door latch for a 56 Beetle. New or NOS would be great, but used parts in very good condition are also acceptable.

If anyone knows of a company in the US or Europe that sells a quality, new part please let me know. Thank you.

I have a pair of brand new catches and striker plates that I bought from Wolfsburg west, from memory they were for a 64 but if you fit both catches and strikers there are no problems. Bought them for my 59 but I managed to sort my originals so they are not needed.

Pm me if your interested and ill have a think about a price

Thanks for the offer. However, I prefer to use year specific parts and not change to later stuff.
