Viking, if you can't find a new or NOS bra. You might try this lady in the UK:

She makes fog light and spare tire covers. She is easy to work with. I had her make me a set of checkered fog light covers. I just sent her pictures and dimensions of my fogs.
You could send her a black bra to use as a template for her to make u a checkered one. Just a suggestion...
