Well I am not sure if this should come in the What came in the mail today thread but This showed up yesterday. I have been waiting for a few weeks so needless to say I am pretty excited.

66 Sea Blue Sunroof
2276 with dual 44s, really mild street motor on a fresh rebuild. Seems as if the motor is not vented properly so I am going to have to work on that. I think it needs a breather box and the valve covers vented. Has a fresh built trans with super beetle mainshaft, etc. , Ercos, etc. Car sounds great and should be a lot of fun....

It has a 4" beam that I think I am going to swap with a 2". I can use the 4" on my 67 Vert.

I brought the Notch over to meet it and took a pic of the German lineup at the house....

I think my FAT Performance hex T-bars and some other stuff will be going on it.....One step at a time.

Enjoy

Larry

Thanks for the replies. Eventually it will need channels and some other stuff but it is a good platform. Going with a better set of heads and IDAs in the winter. Also going to go to a different beam so it is a bit more traditional. I will be putting my M&H slicks on the back and getting a real platinum interior. The car has a bump in the front that will be addressed.

Overall I am stoked. Should be a blast and I love it.
