Morning Danny.
Are you still using the original 5 spokes?  Then I suggest looking into Steve Walker's post about tires last week.  He ordered them from Longstone Tyre in England.  I have received tires from them as well and they have the Pirellis that we ran back then.  They need a tube, though.  The tread patterns are right on and the look is correct.  Just a thought.

i am thinking about buying a set of vredestein sprint classic 185 r15 too -but does anyone have pictures? for instance are those 185 vredestein in the back of this beautiful car?

I have a 155 Vredestien for my spare...when the '67 gets redone I'll probably run 155s in the front and their 185s in the rear.  I don't mind the look at all, they seem like a proper "vintage" tire from back in the day.

Sure, I'd love to run all Michelins, but they're too cost prohibitive.
