Just received a text message from Jussi Jyränkö. Some one has stolen 48/51.5 IDAs (including welded intake manifolds) from his Ultra VW featured Split Window Beetle. This happened between 19.4. 23:00 and 20.4. 07:00 right from his shop's yard in Mäntsälä. Since his shop is located in midde of nowhere in countryside, few kilometres from main roads etc someone had know what to look for and where. So, please, if you come across someone selling such carburetors from Finland. Email me or Jussi ( info@kuplapaja.com) or send him text message +358 400 657 728. There is a reward to information that leads catching the weasel or at least getting the carbs back where they belong. |

Yeah, I don't really understand where the hell is the thief thinking about using these.. Jussi is so well connected in every form of VW racing and performance enthusiasts in the country where circles are small. |

They are still not found but Jussi is not the kind of guy that will let idiots like this take him down. Instead he focused his anger on going faster, bought new carbs and managed to improve his personal best with over half a second!
10,487 in a street driven split!! Will be exciting to see if Shawn Geers will be able to beat that time and take the # 1 spot.

The Split was in the yard of Jussi's shop, so pretty much anyone who has visited the shop daytime knew where it was. |
