here you go Richie, I took the measurement above the thread (16,9mm) and between the thread (15,6mm)

I need to double check that in morning to be sure Smiley

ritchie it seems that the vdo temp senders is M10 x 1

I haven't used one of those in sump, when i used vdo it was the dual temp and pressure sender in stock pressure location

this one?
1/4'' NPT male to 1/8'' NPT female
or here in belgium the sender can be in metric? so i will take 1/4npt female to  M10 male if avaible
